• 5.0 out of 5 stars from Scenic Designer -- The most honest and personal book I’ve read on this subject. : I just finished it. I’ve been a caregiver for my wife for the past 9 years. She no longer speaks or walks but we communicate on a spiritual level that exists between husband and wife. Almost the entire book is underlined. Patti’s willingness to share her deepest and very private thoughts is truly amazing. I’ve read many books on this subject, most are very ‘medical’ or only share a single experience. This book is anything but as Patti includes numerous stories she learned through her support group as well as her own. Little did I know that someone I (and my wife) went to school with so many years ago at USC would touch my heart so profoundly. She has written a book that finally shows what a really tough gig this is. Get out the Kleenex. You’ll need it. ( Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2021 )

Ms. Davis has written a story that has deeply affected me in my journey with a loving wife now fading from me. Her account of dealing with this awful desease is a one-person support group for me.
